Sophie Hunger (born March 31, 1983) is the stage name of eclectic indie-folk and jazz pop singer-songwriter Émile Jeanne-Sophie Welti. Hailing from Bern, Switzerland, Hunger rose to national recognition with the release of her critically-acclaimed debut studio album “Monday’s Ghost” in 2008.
