Karl Olgeirsson at The Bar!
On Thursday, November 5 at 18:00 (6:00 PM), the outstanding pianist and singer Karl Olgeirsson will take the stage at the bar, joined by Nico Moreaux on double bass and Jóel Pálsson on saxophone. Karl, born in 1972, has composed and arranged music, produced albums, and worked as a musical director and performer in theatre. He has also composed music for films. He regularly performs with his trio DJÄSS, the band Karl Orgeltrio, and The Jazz Devils.
Together they will perform songs made famous by singer and actress Julie London, who would have turned 100 this year. Among them is Cry Me a River, which she made famous on her outstanding debut album.
