𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! Six incendiary bands that will lay UniBar Adelaide to waste on Saturday January 16th 2027, leaving nothing but scorched earth behind.

Including performances by top-tier Victorian metal royalty plus some local SA faves and new blood, this event is absolutely not to be missed.

35 year masters of the genre 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗡𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧 (Vic) will make their first SA appearance since the release of their latest epic album, SHUTDOWN IN A HEARTBEAT. Formed in 1992 and now with a solid catalogue of 6 full length albums and 3 EPs under their belt, their long and triumphant history includes tours with the likes of Testament, Nevermore and Devin Townsend. It's been a solid decade since these world class warriors set foot on South Australian soil. Armed with new tunes to perish to and a timelessly captivating stage presence that is as authentically gritty as it is professionally polished, this is a band based on honest blood, sweat and tears for the intense battles of life. The 'Naught deliver progressive and melodically thrashy death metal at its most gut-wrenchingly real. Be ready.

Equally impressive longstayers of 30 years 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗕𝗢𝗞 (Vic) will bring over their energetic metal crossover mayhem, armed with their latest insanely good release, THE ARRIBA WAR HONKLE. In their first SA showing since 2025, the fearless four will demonstrate why they have for so long been loved and revered as ferociously entertaining. With their legacy including a swag of 9 studio albums, 2 live albums and 2 EPs these prolific madmen have blazed a trail of epic destruction across the country since 1997 that is largely unrivalled. No-one is safe from the razor sharp, barely contained chaos of a performance by the Bok. You either already know that or you're about to find out.

Melodeath groove metal merchants 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 (Vic) will be red hot as they grace us with the SA launch of their recent heavy af release, THE DAMNED AND THE BETRAYED. Presenting their trademark brutally melodic material, the boys will show you why 3 years is way too long between visits. No strangers to hard work in the DIY world of wild times, the burning ambition these guys bring to the stage is undeniably intense. Get ready to warm your hands by the fires of unholy heresy and kneel in empassioned prayer for what used to be your neck.

If the high class triple threat Victorian attack is not enough for you, then be there to defend South Australia's honour in celebrating the exclusive 5 year reunion performance by Adelaide larrikan lads 𝗦𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗡 𝗞𝗜 𝗥𝗔. The band was active from 2007 until their headline farewell shows across both nights of the much loved Froth and Fury Fest in October 2021. International support spots over the years with Lamb of God, Soilwork and Destruction, and appearances at the Big Day Out and Soundwave, have left these guys hungry to burn it all down one more time. Known for bringing the riff to the party, we're in for a fun but furious jaunt through songs the fellas haven't played in years. Like ghouls back from the dead for one night only, this is a rare slab of local groove metal to wreck your body to.

Also flying the SA flag from the wastelands will be hometown heroes 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗘 celebrating their 15 year anniversary. Still riding high off the release of their latest album BRANDED, these chaps with the chops will bring their cheerfully nihilistic revelry as a reminder that there are no frills in a post apocalyptic world. With the fire inside still burning strong from shows in 2026 with the likes of Mortal Sin, Double Dragon and Hidden Intent, these rabid underdogs will summon the riff and groove overlords to bang heads as the night and pit heat up.

And to get the whole sordid affair started, cool kid newcomers from Whyalla 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 will show everyone why they're the fastest rising rocket exploding on the underground Aussie scene. Tearing through tracks from their upcoming debut album, these fellas will lay a foundation of heavy hitting groove with soaring melodies to defiantly destroy any falsely limited perceptions of their fresh status.
