For more than three decades, Taake has stood as one of the most influential and distinctive names in Norwegian black metal.

With their new album, "En Skog av Nidstang," Hoest continues his uncompromising artistic vision, combining haunting atmospheres, raw riffs, and epic songwriting deeply rooted in the Norwegian black metal tradition while remaining unmistakably Taake.

The band's ninth full-length album, "En Skog av Nidstang," will be released on July 31, 2026, via Dark Essence Records.
