Pick-up and drop-off: Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal, Wharf Road, Newcastle

⚠️ The vessel departs promptly at 12:00 pm.

Please allow plenty of time for parking, public transport and walking to the boarding location. MV Calmer cannot wait for late arrivals. Guests who miss departure will not be eligible for a refund, credit or transfer.

The vessel is not permanently berthed at Queens Wharf and may not arrive until shortly before boarding. Please proceed to the designated check-in area rather than waiting to see the boat.

MV Calmer is a unique three-level entertainment vessel featuring indoor and outdoor spaces, wrap-around balconies, licensed bars and panoramic Newcastle Harbour views.

Live music events aboard MV Calmer are primarily designed as standing, dancing and concert-style experiences. Limited unreserved seating is available throughout the vessel; however, seating cannot be reserved or guaranteed.

🔞 Licensed 18+ Event

This is an 18+ event. Valid government-issued photo identification may be required.

MV Calmer is a licensed venue operating under strict liquor licensing and Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements.

🔁 Refund and Departure Policy

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.

The vessel aims to depart at the scheduled time and cannot wait for late arrivals. Missing the cruise does not provide grounds for a refund, credit or transfer.

Event and cruise times may be adjusted at the discretion of All Event Cruises management or the vessel’s Captain. Cruise duration may include embarkation and disembarkation.

👥 Group Bookings

Where one person purchases tickets for multiple attendees, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring every attendee receives and understands all event information, entry requirements, policies, terms and conditions before the event.

Failure by an attendee to read, receive or understand information made available on the ticketing page does not provide grounds for a refund, credit, transfer or compensation.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase onboard. Cash and card payments are accepted.

Menus are indicative only and may change without notice.

Strictly no BYO food or beverages.

⚠️ Allergen Notice

The onboard kitchen operates in a shared environment and cannot be considered allergen-free. Although care is taken during preparation, the complete absence of allergens—including gluten—cannot be guaranteed due to the risk of cross-contamination.

Guests with severe allergies, significant intolerances or specific dietary requirements should carefully assess whether the available options and kitchen environment are suitable before booking. Dietary or allergen-related unsuitability does not provide grounds for a refund.

💺 Limited Seating

This is a cocktail-style, concert-viewing cruise rather than a seated or table-service event.

The vessel layout is determined with passenger movement, dance-floor space, event flow and onboard safety in mind. Limited unreserved seating is available but cannot be reserved or guaranteed.

Guests must not bring personal chairs, stools or other seating onboard. These items may create safety or access hazards and may result in refusal of entry.

Guests are encouraged to view photographs from previous events on our social media pages to understand the vessel layout, event style and atmosphere before booking.

♿ Accessibility and Mobility

MV Calmer is not a fully accessible venue due to the design of the wharf, movable gangway, stairways and vessel. The vessel cannot accommodate wheelchairs.

Guests are responsible for assessing whether the vessel and event are suitable for their individual accessibility, mobility or personal requirements before purchasing tickets. Please contact All Event Cruises before booking to discuss suitability.

Accessibility or mobility-related unsuitability does not provide grounds for a refund.

👠 Footwear

MV Calmer has steep stairways. Tall or narrow pointy heels are not permitted. Small, stable chunky heels are acceptable.

👜 Bag Policy

For safety and security reasons, bags larger than a purse or clutch are not permitted onboard.

All bags may be searched before boarding. Guests arriving with backpacks, large totes or similar items may be refused entry without a refund.

🌧️ Weather

Cruises operate in most weather conditions. Rain does not automatically prevent the vessel from cruising, and indoor spaces are available across the main and mid decks.

Operational decisions remain at the discretion of the vessel’s Captain.

🔐 Safety and Security

MV Calmer is monitored by CCTV for the safety and security of guests, crew and staff. By purchasing a ticket and boarding the vessel, guests acknowledge and consent to CCTV recording and onboard security procedures.

All Event Cruises reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest who fails to comply with venue policies, crew directions, safety requirements, Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations or applicable legislation.

There are no mid-cruise pick-ups or drop-offs.

📸 Photography and Video

Professional photography and videography may occur during the event.

By purchasing a ticket and boarding the vessel, guests consent to All Event Cruises Pty Ltd using event images or footage for promotional, marketing and operational purposes without compensation.

🎒 Personal Belongings

Guests must keep their belongings with them and must not leave bags or personal items unattended.

All Event Cruises Pty Ltd accepts no liability for personal items that are lost, damaged or stolen.
