The Love Scene is an annual R&B festival celebrating Black love, live music and independent artistry! This year, we'll be blessed by the vocal stylings of the incomparable Shae Universe, along with Remey Williams and several more incredible artists, as well as some very special guests. The venue is outdoors with covered seating for VIP and Reserved tickets (General Admission seats are not under any covering in the event of rain). Separate, mask-required seating is available for each ticket tier at no additional cost, these seats are grouped as "SaferTogether" sections. The venue is BYOFood and BYOBeverage! Coolers and lawn chairs are allowed on the premises. ASL Interpretation will be provided by Honestly Speaking, Inc.     Shae Universe

    Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, Shae Universe has made waves in the UK, West Africa, and beyond, making music that engages, enchants, and inspires. Her mother is a gospel singer, and her father is a pastor; Shae weaves her spirituality and sensuality through her work. She is an artist who can sing and rap, has been co-signed by Lalah Hathaway, Jorja Smith, and Little Simz, and has remained entirely independent - navigating the industry on her terms. With fans like British Vogue, NME, Rolling Stone, BET, Billboard, Highsnobriety, Complex, Wonderland, and NOTION, 2024 has been Shae’s biggest year. Following on from Shae’s classic R&B project Love’s Letter, released in February 2024, Shae went on to headline her first ever European tour, release her very own Tiny Desk, and was ultimately nominated for a MOBO Award acknowledging all her hard work Post her phenomenal festival run including SXSW in Austin, Glastonbury Festival, Roskilde Festival in Copenhagen and De Roma Festival in Antwerp, she also had a lead feature on Phabo's latest album Don't Get Too Cozy.     Remey Williams

    Remey Williams is a 2× Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer, and drummer from Camden, New Jersey, now based in Hampton, Georgia. Raised in the church and born into a musical legacy as the son of O’Jays bassist Jimmy Williams, Remey began playing drums at age 10 and developed a soulful, emotionally driven sound. He has collaborated with artists including Summer Walker, Usher, Ari Lennox, and Childish Gambino, contributing to certified projects such as Still Over It. Currently the touring drummer for Summer Walker, Remey’s work spans live performance, production, and major TV placements, including PowerBook: Ghost and The Chi.
