Head Movement and Body Movement Fundamentals for Zouk and Bachata - 8 Week Course

In this course, we will cover the fundamentals of Head Movements and Body Movements including:

- Undulations and isolations

- Using body movements to prepare and transition to head movements

- Head movement fundamentals and technique including safety tips, control, and balance

- Circular head movements

- Active vs. passive head movements, musicality

This course is beginner-friendly and is ideal for newcomers, current Zouk dancers that want to expand beyond their basics, and Bachata dancers that want to learn head movement technique

Note: This course will use Zouk head movement technique, footwork, and music, with concepts and technique applicable to Bachata

📅 Dates: 8 weeks of Thursdays from August 13th to October 1st

⏰ Time: 20:30-21:30 followed by a social

📍 Location: Bíldshöfði 10, 110 Sveitarfélagið

💲 Cost:

8 week course: 24,000 kr (per person) - if you know in advance that you will miss some classes, you can let Celina know and she can prorate the course cost for you

2 full Zouk courses e.g. combined with Zouk Fundamentals or Signature Head Movements: 36,000 kr (per person)
