Mekdes
INTRODUCING: MEKDES She is the brand new voice on the international neo-soul scene. Born in Ethiopia 23 years ago Mekdes’ voice was innate – as a unique part of her from the very start – and the soul, heart and passion of Mekdes shines through in the music she makes and is a clear reflection of the young artists’ own personality.

In her home studio based in Kolding, Denmark, Mekdes is her own producer and songwriter. Her musical inspiration comes from a wide range of artists including the likes of H.E.R, Ama Lou, Mahalia, Jorja Smith and Jazmine Sullivan. Mekdes released her debut album Greedy 2022.
Smag På Dig Selv
A drummer and two saxophonists. That's how simple the recipe is for one of Denmark’s wildest live bands. It tastes like punk, it tastes like jazz, and also a bit like pop, hip hop, Afrobeat, death metal and maybe some 90s dance. Copenhagen trio Smag På Dig Selv (SPDS) is the epitome of instrumental euphoria – dangerous, progressive, seductive and free. In addition to their relentless techno-inspired energy, SPDS made a name for themselves by using Nordic throat singing, powerful poetry readings and industrial props on stage.
Rigmor
Rigmor is a Danish indierockband formed in 2018. The band released their second studio album on March 1st 2024, which follows their debut album (2022). Both albums have been very well-received. Rigmor has also been quite active on the live scene and has been called "the band you MUST SEE in 2024" by Danish music magazine GAFFA. During SPOT Festival 2022, Rigmor participated in a live session with the legendary Seattle radio channel KEXP. The live session has more than 100.000 views, and even though the songs are in Danish, the band has now gained a lot of listeners worldwide. Rigmor consists of Sarah Wichmann (vocal, guitar), Oliver Stewart (guitar), Victor Sousa (bass) and Lasse Lykke (drums).

Though still early in his career, he's no newcomer to music. He started recording songs as a child, and in recent years, he's gone all-in on his passion, moving abroad to chase his dreams.

His latest release, Greener, has put him in the spotlight, earning him performances on live TV on the European mainlaind. With a catchy sound, undeniable talent, and effortless charm, it's no wonder he's catching attention everywhere he goes.

And now, we're bringing him to Göta! Beinir will officially kick off the main stage on the beach on Thursday, July 17th, and you don't want to miss it!
