Traces of Us explores the ways our lives touch and the traces we leave on each other.
It is a dance and acrobatic performance that will take place in four locations over the course of an hour:
Hljómskálagarðurinn, in the trees by the tower: 13:15
Idno, by the water 13:30
MR, on the grass: 13:45
Arnarholl, by the status: 14:00
It is a site specific performance, using architectural and landscape elements to tell the story of how distant lives can cross in the unexpected place of Iceland. It is a reminder of the importance of slowing down, so that you can notice the ways you intersect, with places, with people, with emotion, and with feelings. This is both expressed in the relationship of the dancers, but is also an invitation to the audience to slow down, and notice something.
