Choir culture has established itself as a key part of Icelanders’ musical upbringing. In KÓR³, a flute choir (Viibra), laptop choir and drum choir will meet in Kaldalón to challenge the limit of what a choir can mean, collectively exploring pitch, texture and rhythm. The music will be accompanied by an interactive light installation.

Ida Schuften Juhl
Ida Schuften Juhl is an Iceland based composer, performer, and sound artist with a passion for building inclusive communities. With over 7 years of experience, Ida has demonstrated a diverse skillset spanning from multimedia sound installations, composing for short-film and contemporary dance, as well as performing electronic live music and sound engineering.
She’s been an active member of the d.i.t (do it together) arts collective Post-Dreifing since 2018, and taken part in building the new media arts collective Rask from 2019-2021. -
