Gary Levinson and Magdalene Ho

A duo performance featuring a genuine 1726 Antonio Stradivari violin, billed as an intimate chance to hear a rare, historic instrument live.

The violinist: Gary Levinson, Senior Principal Associate Concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth. He trained at Juilliard under Dorothy DeLay, Glenn Dicterow, and Felix Galimir, was selected by Zubin Mehta to debut with the New York Philharmonic in 1991, and has won top prizes at the Romano Romanini and Jacques Thibaud competitions. He's performed alongside artists like Yo-Yo Ma and Lynn Harrell.

The pianist: Magdalene Ho, a young virtuoso born in 2003 in California. She swept the 2023 Clara Haskil International Piano Competition (grand prize plus three additional awards) and became the first woman to win the International German Piano Award in 2024. Trained at the Purcell School and now at London's Royal College of Music under Dmitri Alexeev, she's performed with major orchestras and competed at the 2025 Van Cliburn Competition.
