✨ 25th Anniversary + New Season ✨

Welcome to a special evening - we're celebrating 25 years of Songwriters Circle and kicking off a new season after the summer break! 🎉

Since 2001, hundreds of songwriters, musicians, and music lovers have been part of this community.

We begin the night with an intimate concert from tonight's featured artist: Bobo Moreno, who will also share a bit about his music, songs, and the creative process behind them.

For almost 40 years, Bobo Moreno has been singing for and alongside others - as a backing vocalist for names like D.A.D., Sanne Salomonsen and Birthe Kjær, and as a voice that lifts everything it touches. He calls himself a "singing Swiss army knife." But now it's his turn.

At 60, Bobo makes his debut as a solo artist with the album Missing Pieces - 9 original songs recorded in Stockholm and Copenhagen, moving through Soul, R&B, Singer/Songwriter and Americana. Songs about aging, relationships, the environment, and all the things we turn a blind eye to. Honest, warm, and written with a touch of humor and self-irony. It took a while to get here. But as Bobo puts it: "We're not getting any younger - and if there's something we've long dreamed of doing, it's time to just go for it!"

🎤 Come and perform your own songs - in any genre.

🎸 Test out new material in front of a listening and engaged audience.

👂 Or simply enjoy the evening from the audience and experience the wide range of music that unfolds spontaneously.

SC Open Stage takes place every month, and as always, entry is free. Bring your instrument, invite your friends, and join us for a night full of music, inspiration, and community! ✨🎶
